Water is central to life. We are made of water. What comes out of water speaks to our existence and identities, both past and present.

What emerges from your water?

From Juror Alexandra Charitan:

A friend sent me a video recently of an older woman being interviewed in New York City. She said that while she had noticed that the mid-30s tend to be a pivotal age for women, herself included, she encouraged those watching to remember that life is more like a river than a clear, linear path. No matter what age you are, experiences and monumental moments swirl around us in every direction. Water, she said, is the most powerful element; instead of struggling against the current, embrace the ebb and flow.
